    Beach Ball

Hello Friends Waleska here from craftinglovew to share a super fun shaker card.   I hope you like my card as much as I do and can be inspired to create!

    CARD DETAILS:

For this card I wanted to create a Beach Scene, to do that I started with the background, with Tumbled Glass Oxide ink and a cloud stencil I did the sky, after that I cut the ocean waves and the sand texture.  For the sand texture I used kraft cardstok that I splashed with Vintage Photo Oxide ink and white acrilic paint mixed with water.  For the waves I used Salty OCean Oxide Ink.

The shaker kit I used is a preview and this kit can be purchaed on Sunday!!!  I love this shaker kits because it includes everything you need to create a shaker card quicky and easy,   All you have to do is:

Adhere the base shake on your card base.

Add your fillers (Sequins, Sprinkles, jewels, beads

Adhere the clear accetate and decorative frame overlay and

    Shake! Shake! Shake

For this card I colored with markers the Ball´s Frame and put some sparkle too

I adhere the cute shaker ball to the front panel of my card and stamped the sentiment and just like that you have an amazing looking shaker in not time!  Remember that this product will be available this Sunday with a bunch of other great new products.

Thank you so much for stopping by,   Have a Great day!!!

    Punny Snacks Shaker Card

Hi Friends! kel here today to share a yummy shaker card using the new Punny Snacks stamp set!!

This set is so cute and fun and YUMMY! I absolutely love that it comes with an assortment of faces that you can decorate your food with… something I am definitely going to have to play with next.

I colored up the images with my Copics and then used my Scan n Cut to die-cut all these little images. I arranged them as a frame for my shaker box, and then added some clear acetate on top of it to create my window. Then I dumped in some Sparkling Manhattan Sequin Mix into the window before closing it up with some scrap paper for a backing and some 3d squares to pop it all up so my shaker had enough shaking room! I really couldn’t figure out what bright colors would look nice with this food frame, and then settled on browns because just about every-other piece of food on here had brown in it!

I also stamped all over the background paper with the Walnut brown ink cube from the Lawn Fawn Candy Store Ink Cube Pack and then added some red hearts in the gaps using the Lobster red ink cube from the same Candy Store Ink Cube Pack. I then added the sentiment and heart with my Versamark Ink Pad before heat embossing it so that it stood out nicely. I used white embossing powder for the sentiment and red embossing powder for the heart.

Again, SO FUN. Love this set and looking forward to adding some faces to my food lol!! Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!

  • From the Zoo…

Hi again, Cheryl here with another project to share.

Today I’m working with a Gerda Steiner stamp set called Party Animals. Such cute images! So, I got out my Oxide Inks and did some ink blending and then used one of KS Stitched Heart Tag Dies. I cut one from the ink blended cardstock and four more from just white.

You can see I only want the area with the heart with some above and below.

I then glued the four together to create the shaker well. Add a piece of acetate and trim so it doesn’t show. Then glue this to the back of the main, ink blended piece. Trim anything that shows from the front. Fill with your shaker bits and glue another piece of acetate to the back to keep it all in.

I added foam tape to all the other areas. I then stamped my sentiment onto some vellum and heat embossed with black embossing powder. I also colored and cut out my cute alligator with Distress Markers and cut out with my Brother Scan N Cut 2. I added foam squares to the back of the little guy.

I picked out the leaf shaped sequins and made a little cluster with a regular sequin in the center to resemble flowers. And added a few others as well. The patterned paper is from Doodlebug’s At The Zoo 6×6 paper pad. I cut it just a tiny bit smaller than the card base. Then glued the panel in place.

I love how easily these Oxide inks blend! So easy and no harsh lines. And today I see the next 12 are being released!!! Cannot wait! Anyway, that’s my card for today. Hope some of the process photos help to see how I did this. Get out your supplies and have some fun paper crafting! See you next time!

Here’s the products I used from the KatScrappiness Store.
