    Proud of You!

    Happy Friday Kat Scrappiness Friends!

Tasha here sharing a graduation card tutorial featuring the A2 Postcard Die and “Merry Critters” Stamp Set!

I used the A2 Postcard Die for the center card and ink blended yellow stars with the new Falling Stars Stencil. I love the variety of star sizes and the falling star pattern!

The owl character used is from the “Merry Critter” Stamp Set and I added the cap and gown to go with the graduation theme. Owl images are great for grad cards and this one is just too cute!

The top sentiment “Proud of You” was created with the Proud Of You Sentiment W/Shadow Die. The gold glitter shadow layer is so pretty and the colors coordinate perfectly with the stenciled background! In addition, I stamped “Happy Graduation Day” with red & black ink. The postcard die adds lines to write a greeting, but also works to line up stamped sentiments.

Lastly, I added yellow enamel dots and layers of orange cardstock and star pattern paper to complete the card.

    Have a wonderful day!

How to Make an Infinity Shaker Card

Hi, everyone! This Nicki from the design team here with some tips and tricks on making infinity shaker cards. Check out the YouTube video for all the details!

Let’s start with what we need to make the card today. All of these items will be listed at the end of the post.

Kat Scrappiness, spring fling, proud of you, Nicki Hearts Cards

First, I cut the card stock to 4.25 x 5.5 inches. Next, I carefully slid the card stock into the large Avery Elle Stamp Pocket. Then I made a fold with the bone folder.

Next, I added the shaker element. Don’t forget to do this before sealing the pocket!

Once the shaker element is in place, it’s time to seal the pocket with double sided tape. With the pocket sealed, all that is left to do is add the sentiment and the black card stock backing.

I am sharing a cute card I created using the newly released Proud Of You Sentiment W/Shadow Die along with the adorable Quokka from the Valentine Quokka Stamp Set.
This card could be a great graduation card for someone graduating from school or just a card to let someone know you are proud of their accomplishments.

Here is how I created my card:

    • Cut the white Slimline Card Base: 6″ x 3 1/2″ (6″ x 7″, scored at 3 1/2″).
    • Die cut the top layer using Mini Slimline Scalloped Edged die.
    • Die cut the next layer with the Mini Slimline Never Ending die, using the newly released Ugly Sweater Slimline Paper Pack.
    • Stamped, die cut and colored the quokka with copics from the Valentine Quokka Stamp Set.
    • Die cut the Proud Of You Sentiment W/Shadow Die with black card stock and the shadow with vellum.
    • Assembled the card and finished off with adding Quokka Love Enamel Dots.

Thank you for stopping by, please come back soon for more inspiration.
