  • Make a Wish

Hello Friends Waleska Galindo here with my first post of the month, today I wanted to share a birthday card I created because I am always in need of birthday cards.  Birthday cards are the cards I am always giving, so what are your most used cards? For my card today I used one of the newest released stencils the falling stars I hope you like my idea.

    CARD DETAILS:

I first started die cutting the candles from the Birthday Essentials I used different colors of cardstock for a fun color combo.  I glue all the pieces and set them aside.  I then worked on the background, with Oxide Ink in Salvaged Patina Inked around this piece leaving a white space in the middle, I added some water splashes for more interest.

Finally I used the falling stars stencil and I added glitter paste in gold for the stars, I adhered the candles and the make a wish word die with the same colors I used for the candles.  I did a gold and white layers for the card base and this super colorful birthday card is done!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hello Friends Waleska here to share with you some ideas on how to use the Heart Donut Builder Dies to create some Yummy cookies too.

    CARD DETAILS:

I started creating this card by cutting four dies from the Heart Donut Builder Die from kraft cardstock I glue two together to create dimention on the cookies and I inked the edges with Oxide ink Vintage Photo, I love the look they look like real cookies.  I then cut the wavy piece to create the icing on the cookie with white cardstock, I did the same thing and I glue two pieces together and then I add Glossy Accents to this pieces and put Distress Glitter Clear Rock Candy.  I finally cut the smallest heart from this set with read cardstock and I added the glossy accents and distress glitter they look so yummy!

For the background I use Oxide ink Salvaged Patina and I cut a white frame too.  I adhered this piece to a red cardbase I added the two cookies in the center of the card and I added the word friend from the Hello my crafty Friend word die with shadow to this piece! I love how this card turned out and the real look I got from those cookies.  So now you know you can use the Heart donut dies to create cookies too.

  • Slimline Foliage Frame

Hello Friends Waleska here, to share with you a Slimline card with the new Foliage Frame die!!!  I love this new Slimline version of the old design we had it is super versatile and gives a very elegant look to any card you make.

    CARD DETAILS:

To create this card I started by cutting from  watercolor paper the Slimline Foliage Frame and with Oxide Ink Sprays spray and smooshed the color to create the splash detail.  I used Blueprint Sketch and Cracked Pistachio.

I set aside this panel to dry and started with my card base, I wanted a soft color but bright enough to pop on the foliage background.  I masked a white card base so that the ink blended background was only inside the frame, and ink blend Twisted Citron Oxide ink.  I also put some color splashes of water mixed with the same inks I used before.  I added gold watercolor splashes too,

I then put 3D Foam to raise the Foliage Frame to the card base and adhere it. I cut another panel of the die, but this time on gold cardstock and cut some of the foliage to tuck inside the frame for a gold look.

I finish by adding the Thanks die cut from the Give Thanks word die by Kat, I only used the thanks die in the middle of the card.  I used a Kraft card base and added some sequins here and there for some sparkle.

I hope you like my card today! Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you can be inspired to create with all this amazing new dies and remember to Stay Safe and Stay Crafty!
