Oopsie Daisy – Happy Birthday Card

Happy Friday Friends! Sheri from the Creative Crew here today with a Birthday card featuring the Oopsie Daisy Layering Stencil along with a few other supplies.

    Steps to Create Card:

    • Cut White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ (4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″)
    • Cut White panel using the A2 Quilted Background die.
    • Cut White frame using the largest die from the A2 Frame die set.
    • Cut 2 White fishtail banners from the Nesting Fishtail Banner die set. I used the second & third largest banners in the set: 3″ x 4 1/2″ & 2 5/8″ x 4″.
    • Ink blend the largest fishtail banner from the 2 you cut out. (used Gina K. Dark Orchid)
    • Stamp birthday sentiment from the Happy Day and Every Day Brush Strokes stamp sets on the smaller fishtail banner towards the bottom. Use black ink for the “Happy” and stamp the “Birthday” using embossing ink on a scrap piece of black card stock that you will trim into a strip using the Boxed Sentiment Strip dies.
    • Cut foliage from the Stitched Foliage die set. I cut three pieces from white card stock.
    • Ink blend foliage pieces using green ink. (used Gina K. Designs Jelly Bean Green)
    • Take white card stock large enough to stencil your flowers and leaves. With the Oopsie Daisy Layering Stencil and three shades of ink to create your daises. (used Gina K. Light Orchid, Medium Orchid and Dark Orchid). You will also need 4 leaves. (I used Gina K. Jelly Bean Green and was just heavy handed with the second layer). Once your daisies and leaves are complete, cut them out with the Oopsie Daisy Coordinating Die Set.
    • Assemble Card. (foam tape optional)
    • For embellishment I added a few Ice Ice Baby Clear Enamel Dots.

  • Oopsie Daisy Coffee Card

    Oopsie Daisy Coffee Card

Hi crafty friends! Sammi here today showing you a beautiful card made with the new Oopsie Daisy 6×6 Layering stencils paired with the Layered Coffee Cup die. Who doesn’t like coffee and flowers together?! Such a great combination! Here is how I made this card:

    1. First I cut out the A2 Lattice Frame die with white cardstock to create the background. I then cut a piece of white cardstock the same size of the middle of the Lattice Frame die and ink blended the piece of cardstock using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks.
    2. I then cut out the Layered Coffee Cup die with white cardstock and ink blended the pieces with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks and glued the pieces together using Bearly Art Glue. I then popped the coffee cup onto the background using foam tape.
    3. I then made the daisies using the Oopsie Daisy 6×6 Layering stencil and Oxide inks and using the coordinating dies to cut them out. I then added them to the card front using foam tape on the lower left hand corner.
    4. I wanted to add a butterfly, so I stamped one of the butterflies from the Fluttering By 4×6 stamp set and coordinating die and popped the butterfly onto the card front using foam tape.
    5. For the sentiment, I decided to use one of the sentiments from the Let’s Get Caffeinated stamp set and I fussy cut the sentiment out and popped it onto the coffee cup with foam tape.
    6. I then added some Coffee Pearl Mix embellishments to complete the look and glued the card panel onto a card base with Bearly Art glue.

I really like how this card came out! It was exactly what I wanted and I love when a card comes together how I planned! I hope you will give it a try! Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

  • Oopsie Daisy Get Well Card!

    Good morning Kat Scrappiness Friends!

Tasha here sharing a Get Well card tutorial featuring the Kat Scrappiness Oopsie Daisy Layering Stencil Set.

This layered stencil creates the most beautiful flowers and I love the way they look with bold colors! I also used the Oopsie Daisy Coordinating Die Set to cut all the images out. This die set works with the stencil and the Oopsie Daisy Stamp Set.

See my full tutorial on the Kat Scrappiness YouTube Channel!

For the greeting, I used the Get Well Soon Word W/Shadow Die. The words are all one piece making it super easy to position on the shadow. I also used a purple glitter paper for the bottom layer to bring in tons of sparkle!

Lastly, I added a piece of purple check paper from the Easter On Parade – Slimline Paper Pad and several enamel dots to complete the design.

Thank you for checking out today’s project and I hope you enjoyed a peek at the Oopsie Daisy Layering Stencil Set.

  • Hello Mini Slimline Card

    Hello Mini Slimline Card

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. Today I am sharing a DIY Background using the Floating Dots Stencil along with the Stitched Foliage dies and the Oopsie Daisy Layering Stencils for this super fun card. Below you will find the steps to create your own card.

Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 7” x 6”, score at 3 1/2” and fold in half for a horizontal top fold card. (Mini Slimline)

Step 2 – Trim White Cardstock to 6” x 6”. Place the Floating Dots Stencil on top and apply Inks of your choice in rainbow colors. Once done spray water onto the stencil and place it on a new White Cardstock trimmed 6” x 6”. Rub onto the cardstock to make sure that the inks transfer. Gently remove the cardstock from the stencil and let dry. Below is the regular inked cardstock and the one created from the ink residue from the stencil.

Step 3 – Trim the watered background to 3 1/4” x 5 3/4” and adhere to the card front using Bearly Art Precision Glue.

Step 4 – Place the Oopsie Daisy Stencil on White Cardstock. Apply ink of your choice in the lightest color, then place the other stencil using a slightly darker ink of the same shade. Diecut with the coordinating die. Adhere to card using Foam Tape.

Step 5 – Apply Green Ink of your choice on White Cardstock. Diecut Stitched Foliage and ink the edges for added dimension. Adhere to card using Bearly Art Precision Glue.

Step 6 – Diecut Hello My Crafty Friend using Teal Cardstock (use a little scissor surgery to separate the word Hello). Diecut 2 more time using White Cardstock (again separating the word Hello). Layer together using Bearly Art Precision Glue making sure the Teal diecut is on top. Adhere to card using Bearly Art Precision Glue.

Step 7 – For added interest and sparkle randomly adhere Pearl Mix using Bearly Art Precision in colors Ballerina Pink, Carolina Blue, Mint Green, Bumble Bee and Apricot.

This card can be used for many occasions by changing the sentiment. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
