    Easter Blessings

    Hello everyone!

It’s Donna here sharing a couple of Easter cards I created using the newly release Easter dies.  My first card I used the newly released Layered Tulip Bouquet Die Set and my second card is created using the newly released Happy Easter Bunny clear stamp set.

Just a reminder, the Spring sale is going on right now until March 14th!

    Spring Sale at Kat Scrappiness!

My first card, is a mini slimline card which measures 3 x 6, I then die cut the Kat Scrappiness slimline Diamond Wire & Wood Grain die.  I used some design paper behind the slimline die and adhered everything together.  I then used some distress inks to color the tulips, leaves and bow from the Tulip Bouquet Die Set.  I adhered everything together to create the bouquet and added it to my card.  I then die cut the Kat Scrappiness Brush Script Happy Easter word die and colored it with distress inks and adhered it to the card.  To finish off the card I used the Kat Scrappiness Gold Sequin cross at the base of the bouquet.

Here is another look of the card.

My next card I created using the Kat Scrappiness Happy Easter Bunny clear stamp set.  I love this stamp set, it measures 3×4, but makes an adorable card.  My card is a top folding slimline card.  I masked off the top layer and added some distress inks.  I die cut this with Kat Scrappiness mini slimline Embossed Edge Die.  I then stamped the the image from the Happy Easter Bunny clear stamp set.  I also stamped the image again, I colored the ears and feet with copics and then fuzzy cut them out and used foam squares and popped them up onto the card.  I finished the card off by adding some Kat Scrappiness Quokka Love Enamel Dots.

Thank you so much for stopping by, please come back again soon!

Here is a list of supplies I used on my cards, Affiliate Links used at no additional cost. Thank you for your support.

  • A Quokkka for Every Card

    A Quokkka for Every Card

The Quokka has been nicknamed the world’s happiest animal!
They are marsupials and just like a kangaroo, they can carry their baby Joeys in their pouch.
You can find these adorable little chipmunk lookalikes in Australia on Rottnest Island!
They are said to be so friendly that you could even take a selfie with them!
Kat Scrappiness has 3 different stamp sets featuring the adorable Quokka!
    and the newest addition is
It’s Lisa from Oh So Cute By Lisa here with you today on the Kat Scrappiness blog and I have a fun card to share today that features a few fun products from Kat Scrappiness!
The Everyday Quokka set is so versatile because it comes with so many accessory stamps to dress up your Quokka with! Here’s a look at the stamp set:
I created a mini slimline card using the Everyday Quokka stamp set and I used the birthday cake stamp to make a birthday card. Depending on what your Quokka is holding you can make birthday cards, holiday cards, baby cards and the list goes on and on!

I started with a piece of Neenah 110lb Classic Crest white cardstock and cut out a panel using the largest die from the Mini Slimline Double Stitched Dies. After I cut out the panel I embossed it with a paw print embossing folder.

    *Cardmaking Tip*
Make sure you cut your panel out with the slimline die before you emboss it so you don’t flatten the embossed pattern in the die cut machine.
    **ask me how I know**
    😂😂😂
I matted the embossed panel on to a piece of brown card stock and then on to a mini slimline base.
The clean and simple Happy Birthday die was the perfect addition.

Look how cute this little guy looks holding his cake! You just can’t be sad if you’re holding cake!
    🍰 🍰  🍰
In hindsight I wish I cut his hands out so you could see him holding the cake but he’s still
    cute nonetheless right?
I hope you enjoyed my cute little Quokka card today and make sure to head to the Kat Scrappiness store today and check out the entire new February release! There are lots of new dies and an endless amount of sprinkles and sequins to choose from!
Have a great day, I already am!

  • Happy Valentine’s Day Quokka

    Happy Valentine’s Day Quokka

Happy Sunday everyone, I hope everyone is having a good weekend.  Today I have a fun mini slimline shaker card for you today.

I started by die cutting a piece of the new Heartfelt Wishes slimline paper with the double stitched mini slimline die.  I then die cut the heart from this panel using the double stitched heart dies.  I layered the panel onto a die cut piece of brown card stock using the stitched scalloped mini slimline die.  I filled the heart shaker with Hearts O’Plenty sequins, Love Heart sprinkles, and red and white seed beads.

I colored the quokka from the Valentines Quokka stamp set with Copic markers.  The sentiments, also from the Valentine Quokka stamp set, were stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder onto red card stock.  I adhered the panel onto a red mini slimline card base.  The mini slimline card base measures 3.5 x 6 inches.
