Hi Everyone!
This month is an exciting one over at the Kat Scrappiness shop. Three new stamp sets were released and today, I get to work with the new Rock Candy Layered Stamp Set! This is a 4-step layering stamp that is so easy to use. Like all of Kat’s layering stamps, lining them up is a cinch especially with a stamp platform. Today, I wanted to really highlight these fun stamps by doing a repeat stamping project.
To make it super simple, I drew some diagonal lines on my circle-shaped card base so I could easily line my stamps up and down the card.
I used a variety of colored inks to create a rainbow pattern of rock candy with the help of my Tim Holtz Tonic Stamp Platform.
Here’s a look at the inside–more circles!
Although this is a 4 step layering stamp, you don’t actually need 4 variations of the same color. You can simply choose 2 or three and double or triple stamp some of them to get darker versions. I’ll show you in the video below.
