  • Sparkly Easter Egg

Hello friends Waleska Galindo here for my first post on this new beautiful month! Easter is just around the corner and today I wanted to share with you a super sparkly Easter card I created with one of the many amazing Easter products we have at the shop the Large Filigree Egg die, I hope you like it, this is one of my favorite of all.

    CARD DETAILS:

To create this card I cut the Large Filigree Egg die with white cardstock and I add it a very soft ink blending on the edges with oxide ink Wilted Violet, I then added a backing with a soft violet cardstock to combine with the ink blending.  I then added a bow that comes in the Crafters Essentials Easter Edition with the same violet cardstock and some pink and yellow I wanted all my colors to be very soft, I adhered this bow to the egg on the top.

I then added gems around the egg for a very sparkly look, it looks beautiful with all gems around the egg.  I finally added the word Easter in the center and adhered the egg to a white panel on a card base.

I love this egg you can make all kinds of cards with it, you can make shakers or tags too.  This and many other Easter products you can find at the shop! Have a wonderful Day!

  • Filigree Easter Egg Card

    Filigree Easter Egg Card

Hi Everyone, it’s Tina here. The Large Filigree Die from Kat Scrappiness makes super quick Easter Cards. Just create any background using inks and diecut the Large Filigree and and add some accents. Easy Peasy! Below you will find the steps to create your own Filigree Easter Card.

    Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, score at 4 1/4” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)

Step 2 – Trim White Cardstock to 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”. Apply Distress Oxide Ink randomly using an ink applicator. I used Candied Apple, Wild Honey and Squeezed Lemonade. Adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 3 – Trim White Cardstock to 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”. Diecut Large Filigree Egg and keep the outer diecut. Diecut the outer diecut with Double Stitched Rectangles. Diecut Large Filigree Egg using Black Cardstock. Adhere the Black diecut to the bottom of the White diecut. This will give a shadow effect to the egg. Adhere the egg inside the frame using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 4 – Diecut Happy Easter 3 times. 2 times with regular Cardstock and 1 time with Metallic Paper. Stack together with the Metallic diecut on top and adhere to the card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 5 – For added interest and sparkle adhere Yellow Jewels using a Crystal Katana and Collage Medium.

You can change the look of this card by changing the colors. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

  • Easter Egg Shaker

    Easter Egg Shaker

Looking to create something easy and fun for Easter?  Kat Scrappiness has you covered with lots of fabulous goodies to help you create something amazing in no time at all!

For my card, I first layered pink cardstock on to the card base then layered a pattern paper on top.  This pretty egg shaker was a snap to create!

I cut pink sparkly cardstock using the beautiful Large Filigree Egg Die. I adhered acetate to the back of the die cut, trimming it to be flush with the outer edge of the die cut.  Then I placed double-sided foam sticky strips around the back edge over the acetate and sprinkled in Easter Egg Parade Sequins.  I then adhered a piece of white cardstock to the back, trimming to the shape of the egg before adhering the shaker to the card base.

To finish, I used the Happy Easter with Shadow Dies; cutting the shadow from vellum and the words from gold cardstock.

  • Faberge Egg by Martha Lucia

    Faberge Egg by Martha Lucia

Hello there! Martha Lucia here to share with you my version of the Faberge Egg Die. It is a totally beautiful die cut that you can use in many ways.

    Faberge Egg by Martha Lucia

At this time, Kat Scrappiness has two new different designs of eggs. The Faberge Egg Die and the Large Filigree Egg Die. Well I used both on this card. First I created the base of the card using lilac color of card stock. Then I embossed the Large Filigree Egg Die onto white card stock and resized the layer having the Large Filigree Egg a little moved to the left. I mat this layer with a Night of Navy card stock and pasted it directly over the card base.

To decorate the card, I die cut the Faberge Egg Die onto Blush/Gold Rinea Foiled Paper. I also die cut the same Faberge Egg onto regular card stock to have a great dimension. I pasted all the pieces in the same place and with crafty foam tape added to the decorated card base. As final touch, I added a God Promise stamped sentiment from the Lightbulb Moment stamp set by Joy Clair on the top and decorated with some Baby Pink Solid Confetti Mix sequins.

Thank you for stopping by and see you soon with more inspiration!

    ADAM KARLE

Adam used the Filigree Die with the Happy Easter Sentiment with shadow and the Embossed Edge Rectangle die.

    CAREN BARTHOLOMEW

We have two cute cards from Caren.  She used the “happy easter” sentiment with shadow on her first card with the embossed edge rectangle die.

For Caren’s second card, she strung up the PomPoms as a banner and added the cute bunny using the Bunny outline die and build a bunny stamp set.

    JO THOMPSON

Our very talented YouTube DT member, Jo created this adorable card using the Bunny Outline die with the Easter Egg Parade sprinkles and Pastel Pink Bunny tails.  Find out more details about Jo’s project on her blog here or watch the process video below:

    KATHY SCHWEINFURTH

Love this beautiful card by Kathy.  She used the Large Filigree egg die with the Happy Easter sentiment with shadow die and added the bow from the Crafter’s Essentials, Spring set.  She also used the 3mm Pink Solid Heart Confetti and Easter egg Parade sprinkles.  I love the baby pink color against the blue plaid background.  Beautiful design!

    LISA GOLZBEIN

Lisa created a beautiful rainbow background and die-cut the Large Filigree Egg with glitter paper to create this shaker card.

    MARIA RUSSELL

I decided to go for a tone-on-tone card using the Large Filigree egg and used the Chicken or Egg? sprinkles as my shaker element.  I love the cute little yellow chicks with the colorful sequins and they really popped against the white background.

I used the Bunny outline die to die-cut three bunnies in white and adhered the Pink Bunny Tails on each bunny.  I also used the Happy Easter die as my sentiment.

    MEGHAN KENNIHAN

Loving these cards that Meghan created.  The first one is using the Large Filigree egg die with the double-stitched rectangle dies to create her frame.  She added the Happy Easter sentiment die in white and used Rose Medley sequin mix as her shaker element.

For Meghan’s second card, she used the Bunny Outline die and added the Teal Bunny Tails and the Happy Easter sentiment die. Super adorable!

    PRISCILLA JOSEPH

Love this card by Priscilla.  She die-cut the Large Filigree Egg first and used it as her stencil and sponge the yellow ink color to make her die-cut pop!  She also added the Happy Easter sentiment die and finished her design by adorning her card with the Carrots sprinkles.

    GUEST DT – LEEANN MCKINNEY

I love the gold card stock that LeeAnn used to die-cut the Large Filigree egg.  She also used a colorful background and banner with gold accents to make her design look more cohesive.

LeeAnn used the Happy Easter sentiment as a topper to show off the yummy Easter chocolates she is giving to her loved ones this Easter.
