    Summer Quokka Card Tutorial!

    Good morning Kat Scrappiness Friends!

Tasha here sharing a Summer card tutorial featuring the super cute Summer Quokka Stamp and Die Sets!

The cool surfer quokka was stamped with black hybrid ink and colored with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating die set to cut of the image and the little pal and shovel set; so cute!

For the background I used a cloud stencil and created my own wave stencil using the Embossed Edge Wavy Frame Dies.I also used the Layered Sun and Stitched Wave Die to create a beach scene.

See my full tutorial for more details!

Lastly, I added layers of bright paper from the Summer Vibes Paper Pad and attached several Kat Scrappiness Enamel Dots to the sky. I also stamped the word “Hello” in a tan ink color on the sand to complete this Summer card.

Thank you for checking out today’s project and I hope you are having a great weekend!

  • Gnome Worry, Be Happy! Card

    Gnome Worry, Be Happy! Card

Hi Everyone, it’s Tina here. Today I am excited to share with you the new Gnome Summer Stamp Set from Kat Scrappiness. There is also the Summer Gnome Add on Stamp Set but I didn’t have it in time for this card. Below you will find the steps to create your own Gnome Worry, Be Happy! card.

    Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, score at 4 1/4” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)

Step 2 – Place the Cloud Stencil on the card front and add Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass with an applicator to create a cloud sky.

Step 3 – Diecut Catch A Wave using Blue Cardstock. Optional add some Ink to the edges for definition. Adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 4 – Trim Kraft Cardstock to 2” x 4 1/4”. Using alcohol markers add speckled in various colours to create texture to the sand. Trim the top in a wavy motion. Adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 5 – Stamp Summer Gnome images using Gina K Amalgam Ink. Colour in using alcohol markers of your choice. I used Spectrum Noir Classique Markers. Fussy cut the images or use your Scan ‘N’ Cut and adhere to card. Some using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive and some with Foam Tape. (I used masking paper to the man Gnome to be able to have him wear the Ducky Inner Tube).

Step 6 – Stamp Summer Gnome sentiment using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink to the bottom left of the card.

This card can be used for several occasions by changing the sentiment. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
