  • Joy Christmas Wishes

Hello Friends Waleska here super happy to be here for our last month of this 2021, today I want to share a super easy card you can make for those last minute cards you might need for this season.  I hope you like it and be inspired!

    CARD DETAILS:

To create this card I started with my base, I cut a white panel of the Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangle die.  I then cut the solid circle ornament of the Christmas Shaker Ornament dies with white cardstock and inked it with Candied Apple Oxide ink.  I cut the top of my ornament with gold cardstock and I also cut the letters J and Y to spell the word Joy on my card with the Condensed Uppercase Alphabet Dies with green cardstock.

I finally adhered the letters with 3D foam tape with the ornament spelling the word Joy and I finished by splashing some gold watercolor on the entire card.  I hope you have a wonderful day and you are getting ready for Christmas!

  • Elegant Ornament Card

Hello Friends Waleska Galindo, today I am sharing a beautiful and elegant card using the Christmas Shaker Ornament Dies, this dies are made to make ornaments but you can also use them to make solid ornament cards, I love when dies have multiple options and this dies are one of those.

    CARD DETAILS:

To create this card I started by cutting the solid circle ornament die three times with white cardstock.  I then wanted to create this elegant look to them so I googled some elegant color combinations and I decided to go with this burgundy and gray ornaments.  I used Oxide Inks in colors Aged Mahogany and Iced Spruce.  I used some blending brushes and I decided to leave some white space on the ornaments to make them look like they are glowing.

I cut the top part of the ornament with gold cardstock and adhered this part to all my inked ornaments.  I then used some gold thread to create the hanging elements.  I then cut a panel with kraft cardstock as the base of my card I inked the edges of this piece with white Ink  and I adhered the three ornaments to this piece.  With acrilic paint mixed with water I splatter the card to create some snow look.

To finish my card I added some Gold Pearl Mix and the sentiment at the bottom of the card.  Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have an amazing day!

  • Christmas Ornament Shaker

Hello Friends Waleska here, to share a Christmas card with some very whimsical colors! I wanted to create a Christmas card but using some fun colors not the traditional… Do you like traditional Christmas or prefer some different non traditional colors?   I hope you like my card today, this new shaker dies are so much fun and very versatile to create.

    CARD DETAILS:

To start with my card I always like to get some inspiration of color combos, I found this beautiful color combination on pinterest.  I started with my background using two shades of oxide inks in colors Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar, I tried to leave a little white space in the center of my blending to create a focus on my main piece, (the shaker ornament).

I then cut one of the Shaker Ornaments from the new Christmas Shaker Ornaments dies in a teal color cardstock and create the shaker, I also diecut some leaves, for the leaves I used white acrilic paint and a dry brush to create some snow texture and I also added white glitter for some snow sparkle.

I finally adhere the snowy leaves on top of my inked panel and also added the shaker in the middle, I filled my shaker with gold stars to go along my ornament I stamped the sentiment with versamark ink and finally I added some white and gold splatters.

I just love this new ornament dies, the Design Team has made some beautiful projects with them! Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you liked my card and can be inspired to use some fun colors for your Christmas cards.

  • Ornamental Newton and Kat Scrappiness

Hi everyone, AJ here with a super cute stamp set by #NewtonsNookDesigns that Kat has in the shop called #OrnamentalNewton.

I started with a 5×5 card base, I’m such a fan of square cards, this is one of my favorite sizes to work with.  I layered behind my image with patterned paper, using some of Kat’s square stitched dies.  Using my #StampoholicStampingTool to get a perfect impression, I stamped both the image and sentiment.  The image was copic colored and then to add some light sparkle, I used some of the #NuvoPureSheenGlitterDiamond.  I added the cute white dots on the image using my UniBall Impact Bold Point 1mm White Gel Pen, which is my favorite pen! Then I tied a red bow out of twine and added some of Kat’s super cute 6mmRedJingleBells.  The sentiment was cut out using StitchedCircleDies by Kat Scrappiness.  Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you’ve enjoyed my project!  Head over to the KatScrappinessStore for some great deals!
