    Summer Quokka Card Tutorial!

    Good morning Kat Scrappiness Friends!

    Tasha here sharing a Summer card tutorial featuring the super cute Summer Quokka Stamp and Die Sets!

    The cool surfer quokka was stamped with black hybrid ink and colored with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating die set to cut of the image and the little pal and shovel set; so cute!

    For the background I used a cloud stencil and created my own wave stencil using the Embossed Edge Wavy Frame Dies.I also used the Layered Sun and Stitched Wave Die to create a beach scene.

    Lastly, I added layers of bright paper from the Summer Vibes Paper Pad and attached several Kat Scrappiness Enamel Dots to the sky. I also stamped the word “Hello” in a tan ink color on the sand to complete this Summer card.

    Adding Details to Your Die Cuts Using the NEW Summer Vibes Paper

    Hi, this is Nicki from the design team! Today we are going to look at many of the new summer release products. We will make a die cut card with lots of extra details! For all the details, make sure to check out the YouTube video.

    First, I cut several different colors of popsicles from the new Summer Vibes paper pad. Next, I used liquid adhesive to the top of each popsicle and added an iridescent glitter.

    After the glitter dried, I cut the popsicle so that I could add different colors to the bottom. I also ink blended with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide ink to create the popsicle sticks.

    Once I had all these pieces glued together, it was time to create the background for the card. I used 2 papers from the Summer Vibes Paper Pack and the A2 Reverse Scallop die to create the look.

    All that was left, was to add some foam tape to the back of the popsicles and die cut the word “Hi” for the sentiment.

    “Aloha” Tropical Inspired Card using Kat Scrappiness’ Summer Vibes Release | Call Me Crafty Al

    Hello crafty friends!

    It’s Alicia a.k.a. Crafty Al here to share a look at a tropical-inspired card that I created using some of the Kat Scrappiness goodies from their Summer Vibes Release, including the NEW Summer Vibes Paper Pad.

    As soon as I saw the cute pineapple paper in the pad, I immediately thought of Hawaii so I wanted to create a tropical-inspired card. I cut a frame using the A2 Reverse Scallop Die Set out of a piece of green paper from the pad. For my sentiment I used dies from the Condensed Uppercase Alpha set to spell “ALOHA”. To help the letters stand out from the background paper, I added a piece of vellum behind the frame – still giving a little peek of those pineapples in the middle.

    I used my electronic cutter on one of the floral pieces to cut out some individual flowers. One of them got popped up on the front of the card and I placed another as a little decoration inside.

    To finish the card off, I added a trio of yellow enamel dots throughout “ALOHA” from Kat Scrappiness’ Happy Summer Enamel Dots.

    Summer Quokka Card and Tutorial!

    Good morning everyone! Tasha here sharing a Summer card and tutorial featuring the new Kat Scrappiness Summer Quokka Stamp Set!

    The sweet little quokka was stamped with black ink and colored with markers. I used the coordinating die set to easily cut the image out and attached him to the card with foam squares. He looks like he is having a great beach day!

    For the background, I ink blended a simple beach scene and added several enamel dots. I also used the new Happy Summer Word Dies with Shadow for the greeting; the bright yellow is so pretty!

    To add more color to the card, I used the A2 Frame Die Set to cut x2 blue frames. In addition, I added a piece of pattern paper from the Summer Vibes Paper Pad, this paper collection is awesome!

    Hello everyone!

    It’s Donna Idlet hre and I am sharing a card I created using some  products from the 2022 Summer Vibes Released.  I am using the stencil called Oopsie Daisy Layering Stencil and coordinating die set, the Shadow Die called God Bless You, Mini Slimline Quilted Background, and Mini Slimline Frame Dies.

    Here is how I created the card.

    1. Card is a Mini Slimline measuring 6″ x 3 1/2″ (6″ x 7″, scored at 3 1/2″ on 7″ side).2. Die cut white panel from the NEWLY released Mini Slimline Quilted Background and attached to the card base.

    3. Die cut the frame from the NEWLY released Mini Slimline Frame Dies.

    4. Stenciled the flowers from the NEWLY released Oopsie Daisy Layering Stencil and die cut with the coordinating dies.

    5.  Die cut the leaves from the NEWLY released Stitched Foliage Dies.
    6.  For finishing touches added the KS Apricot Pearl Mix.
