Ready for Halloween!

Hi Friends! kel here today to share a super fun Halloween card using the Toil and Trouble Layered stamp set =o) Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday and I actually leave a bunch of Halloween decorations up in my craft room and in my work office year-round because I love it that much! So I’m sooooo excited to be able to start sharing the Halloween goodness!!

As much fun as coloring images with Copics is, sometimes it’s really nice to not color and this layered stamp set is just perfect for that! I actually worried that I wasn’t going to have enough shades of grey ink to work with, but ended up just using the same ink cube for all 3 layers… the layering of the ink created its own shading and I was so happily surprised!

The sentiment was stamped with Memento black ink and the kitty is popped up on some 3d squares. I also put some mats behind him using the Stitched Scallop Oval dies. The last thing I did was add some of these amazing jewels to the card. I diecut (for the stitched edge) strips from some coordinating scrap paper with the long rectangular stitched die from the Crafters Essentials 1 dies (the one in the bottom left corner of the item image in the store). I added the Orange Jewels to the strips, and then the Black AB (Rainbow) Jewels to the top corner of the card to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!

lovies, =o) kel
