Happy Birthday – Under the Sea

Happy first day of summer to those in the Northern Hemisphere.  Feels like its been summer for a couple of weeks here in Oklahoma.  Today I have  a fun birthday shaker card mixing some old and new products from the Kat Scrappiness shop.

Here is how I created the card:

  • Die cut the medium size A2 reverse scallop die from white card stock
  • Die cut two of the Waves Border dies from two shades of blue card stock
  • Die cut the Life Under the Sea dies from green card stock
  • Adhere the blue waves to the back of the reverse scallop border
  • Adhere a piece of clear acetate to the back of this panel
  • Cut a piece of blue card stock for the background of the shaker panel
  • Add foam adhesive to the back of the scalloped panel
  • I adhered some of the Under the Sea foliage to the blue panel and some to the front panel to give it a little more dimension
  • I added the following sprinkles – Fish, Here Fishy Fishy, Baby Shark
  • Adhere the back blue back panel to create the shaker panel
  • Cut a piece of green polka dot paper from the Rainbow Dreams paper pad
  • Adhere green polka dot paper and shaker panel to card base

Thanks for stopping by.
