Foiling with the new KS Stencils

Hello KS fans! I hope you all had a great weekend! If you haven’t seen the new stencils yet, you may want to check them all out on the KS store. For my card today, I am showcasing the Falling Starlights 6×6 Stencil with the Sending My Love Sentiment with Shadow Die.

This card is really simple, but I love how it turned out.

I started by ink-blending a panel of some Bristol Smooth White Card stock using some Distress Oxide Inks.  For the colors, I used Tattered Rose, Abandoned Coral and Seedless Preserves.  This color combo is one of my favorites!

Next, I temporarily taped the Falling Starlights 6×6 Stencil to the ink-blended panel  and used my palette knife to apply Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo.  I waited about half an hour to let the panel dry and cut out some Gina K Designs Deco Foil in Wild Dandelion.  I ran this through my laminator and adhered the panel on some black card base.

I die-cut the words Sending my Love using the Sending My Love Sentiment with Shadow Die with some black and white card stock and used liquid glue to adhere them together, then added it to my card using my tape runner.  I finished the card design by using some white gel pen and drew some stars and dots for added interest.  Here’s another look:

I hope you like this card today.  The supplies I used are listed and linked below.  Thanks for stopping by!
