Zig Zag Borders by Martha Lucia

Hi there! Martha Lucia here with you!

Today I am back with the Zig Zag Border Dies Inspiration. Since yesterday all the products at Kat Scrappiness  store are 15% or 30% OFF and I decided to give you some inspiration with these fabulous borders and some other products that are available now.

The main product that I use to create my cards are the Zig Zag Borders. They are very attractive and easy to use. Let me share with you the first card:

To make this card, I used the stamp set Friendship Greetings, recently released. I stamped several times the sentiment with different colors of VersaFine Clair and embossed them with clear embossing powder. On the middle of the sentiments, I stamped one of the branches included on the Friendship Greetings stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Ink and colored the flowers with Alcohol Markers. Then I cut the left side with the wave form of the Zig Zag Borders.

The base of my card is basic black cardstock and I pasted a piece of designer paper over the left side of the card. Then, I pasted the stamped whisper white layer with double sided foam tape and finalized the decoration adding some tiny stars from the Pastel Girl Star Sprinkles Collection.

My second card was realized all in whisper white card stock. And I combined the Zig Zag Border with some dies included on the Crafters Essentials Easter Edition.

I cut the decorated layer using the angle zig zag border. To make this, I applied classic ink around the piece with a sponge dauber combining tree colors, Pear Pizzaz, Highland Heather and Petal Pink. Then, I stamped the sentiments from Friendship Greetings stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and made some tiny dots with a Fineliner Gray pen from Arteza.

I cut in whisper white cardstock the special details from the Crafters Essential Easter Edition and as final touch I sprayed the inked layer and the Easter Die cuts with Sparkle Sheer Shimmer to add the shiny touch.

On my last card, I used the curve zig zag border over a piece of whisper white cardstock. Over that piece, I stamped with Versafine Clair Blue Belle and clear embossing powder, two images from the stamp set Mega Greetings from Altenew, available at Kat Scrappiness Store.
