You Are EAR-resistable! & Butterfly Beauty with Guest Designer Meghan Kennihan

Hi Crafty Friends,

I am LOVING being a Guest Designer forĀ  Kat Scrappiness this month. I am once again using the awesome Kat Scrappiness He Has Risen die set that was released in March because the clouds are PERFECT! I also used the NEW April Release Cloud Backdrop die! I added some of the fun stamps from Newton’s Nook that Kat Scrappiness carries too! Easter is next week hoping this card inspires you to make someone HOPPY (see what I did there). My second card in this post is using the amazing Butterfly Panel die! Keep scrolling for more beauty!

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:

Q: How long did you believe in the Easter Bunny?

A: Me? I’m pretty sure I figured out the Easter Bunny pretty quick…. like preschool, now Santa on the other hand…. I think that took until 1st or 2nd grade.I started the card by die cutting my backdrop clouds. Then I used the grass die from the He Has Risen die set to make the grass at the bottom. I inked the edges to make the individual “blades” stand out a bit. Next I die cut the clouds and inked them with pink!I finished the scene by adding the darling little bunnies, the butterfly and that sweet pun sentiment!

For my second card, I am using the gorgeous Kat Scrappiness Butterfly Backdrop die that was released in March. It is so easy to make fast and elegant cards.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:

Q: What is your favorite spring insect?

A: Me? I love lightening bugs! They just make the neighborhood look so pretty and I loved to catch them as a kid!

I started my card by cutting a 4 x 5.25″ white paper for the Butterfly Backdrop die. Then I splattered it with Altenew Watercolor Markers and die cut it.

Next I die cut the butterfly backdrop out of my colored cardstock so I could “fill” in the butterflies in different colors. It’s like a fun, crafty puzzle!

I finished the card by adding The Sparkling Flower Blossom sequins and using the wink of Stella glitter marker to accent the butterflies’ wings!Thank you so much for checking out my blog.
