Happy Friday Friends!
Sheri here today with a quick & easy Christmas Gift Card Holder idea!
I don’t know about you but I give a lot of gift cards during the holidays and am always looking for new ideas on how to dress them up a bit. Here’s one idea using the Crafters Essentials 1 die set.
Steps To Create:
- Cut Red A2 Top Fold Card Base: 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ (5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ on the 8 1/2″ side).
- Cut White Inside Liner 5 1/4″ x 4″.
- Cut Large Polka Dot Pattern Paper 5 1/4″ x 4″ from the Ugly Sweeter Paper Pad.
- Cut 2 Stitched Rectangle using Crafters Essentials I die set (1 in red card stock & 1 in green polka dot pattern paper from the Ugly Sweeter Paper Pad).
- Cut 1 Stitched Circle using Crafters Essentials 1 die set with red card stock.
- Stamp Gnome from Christmas Gnome stamp set and color. I used copic markers and then cut out with the coordinating die set.
- Assemble Gift Card Pocket: Cut green polka dot rectangle in half, apply 1/4″ Scor-tape around the two sides and bottom leaving the top open. Remove tape liners and stick to red rectangle to create pocket.
- Stamp Merry Christmas from the Merry Critters stamp set in black ink.
- Assemble card. I did use foam tape on the red stitched circle where its attached to the green pattern paper to allow the gift card to slip into the pocket.
- For embellishment I added a little sparkle to Santa, Glossy Accents to the candy cane and few snowflakes from the Holiday Bliss Mix.
Here’s a list of the supplies I used from the store.
