Sunset Cityscape Card

Hi Everyone, it’s Tina here. Slimline cards is quickly becoming the go to shape for card making. Kat Scrappiness has recently come out with a great selection to make your Slimline card making easier. I was really drawn to the Slimline Layered Cityscape dies. Below you will find the steps to make your own Sunset Cityscape Card.

Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 7” x 8 1/2”, score at 3 1/2” and fold in half for a horizontal side fold card. (Slimline)

Step 2 – Trim White Cardstock to 3 1/2” x 8 1/2”. Apply ink to create a sunset background. I used Distress Oxide Inks starting from the bottom and working up using Wild Honey, Ripe Persimmon, Fired Brick, Dusty Concord.

Step 3 – Diecut Wonky Stitched Nesting Slimline to the background created in Step 2. Adhere to card front using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 4 – Diecut Slimline Layered Cityscape (top layer) using Black Cardstock and (bottom layer) using Yellow Cardstock. Assemble using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive and adhere to card using Foam Tape.

Step 5 – Stamp sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink and diecut it using a Circle die. Adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 6 – Optional – For added interest randomly adhere Jewels in colours red, orange and purple using a Crystal Katana and Collage Medium.

This card can be used for any occasion by changing the sentiment and background colours. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
