Stash Buster: Use Your Patterned Paper To Make Easy Gift Card Holders!

The Kat Scrappiness Slimline Patterned Papers are sized perfectly to make quick and easy gift card holders and holders for cash gifts.  Even when we give the gift of cash or a gift card, we want a beautiful package to give it in!

Ugly Sweater gift card holders

I used the Ugly Sweater Patterned Paper to create my projects today.  I also used several stamp and die sets as well.

I started with one of the slimline patterned papers that had snowflakes all over it.  I thought that would be a perfect winter background for the Winter Essentials dies. I really loved how this turned out!

I scored the paper 3-1/2″ from each end and folded one piece over to create an inside pocket for the gift card.  You can see all the details on my video below!

The snowbank, trees and deer created a perfect little winter scene with the snowflake background!

I used the same pattened paper with the trees and the slimline hills/snowbank dies to create a larger gift holder that cash or a certificate might fit in.  You can see I added one of the adorable Christmas Gnomes!

This is a full sheet of white cardstock scored 3″ from one end and 4″ from the other.  The 3-inch panel folds in to create a pocket large enough to hold cash or a savings bond.  The other panel folds down to create the card front.

My final gift card holder uses the same method as the first one.  This one I used the ugly sweater pattern and topped it with the Dress Up Quokka pair with the Ugly Sweater Add-On.

All 3 projects used a sentiment from the Merry Critters stamp set.  The all also got some sequins from the Glistening Tinsel sequin mix!
