So Very Grateful

Hi Everyone!  It’s Heidi and I’m back with a card using a heat embossing technique with lots of shimmery gold.  I also do a little pop up with my front panel which adds an interesting detail.

To start, I secured the leaf stencil from the Gina Marie Designs June Stencils Bundle to the front of a 4.25″x5.5″ white notecard using some Post-It tape.  Using a Versamark ink pad, I spread the ink evenly over the stencil.

I then heat embossed the area with some Ranger Gold Embossing Powder.

After cutting off the back of the notecard, I used the 6th square in the Never Ending Squares die set, to cut into the center of the embossed panel to creat two parts.

I adhered the frame part to the front of another white notecard, then placed 2 layers of foam tape on the square.  I placed the square on top of the framed piece lining up the leaves exactly.

I stamped Mudra’s Grateful Hollow sentiment stamp onto some vellum with Versafine Onyx, heat embossed it with Ranger Clear embossing powder, then cut that out with the 5th rectangle from the Never Ending Rectangle die set.  The Never Ending dies are perfect when you need a lot of precision on a card like this.  They create nice, clean, exact lines.

I added the vellum piece to the square panel using some clear pop dots and added some Sparkling Manhattan Sequins to highlight the sentiment.

Thanks so much for joining me today.  You can head over to the Kat Scrappiness store to shop for the supplies I used on this project (also linked below).  Be sure to use the coupon code: Heidi10 to receive 10% off your order.
