Rainbow Thank You Card

Hey Kat Scrappiness stampers! It’s Kevin here back with another thank you card! This time I put on my best Laura Fedora and tried my best at a rainbow schemed card. I used my favorite Kat Scrappiness word die and some colorful Distress Inks. Let’s get started!

I started by grabbing my Stampoholic Nano to do the repetitive rainbow stamping of the “THANKS A BUNCH” from Mudra’s Purely Labeled Sentiments. I cut a strip of plain white card stock to 2.25 inches, leaving about an eighth of an inch margin around the label sentiments I will be stamping.

I started from the bottom and worked my way up making sure to line up the stamp with the previous image and the grid lines on the Nano. Since I used Distress Inks, double stamping was a must for this card. They aren’t meant for solid stamping like this, so that why I used the Stampoholic.

I popped the stamped rainbow panel onto a strip of paper from Echo Park’s Summer Fun paper pad and adhered it to a top fold white card base. Finally, I cut out the Thank You word die from Kat Scrappiness twice from white paper and once from black. I stacked the three layers together to give it some added dimension.

Thanks for checking out this rainbow thank you card project. It was a lot of fun and I think that this sign could work with so many other of the Mudra sentiment labels and Kat Scrappiness word dies.
