Pretty Lady Scrapbook Layout

Hello friends! Katty here to share another 12×12 Scrapbook Layout with you all. I chose to scrapbook a picture of my cat. She is so sweet and  pretty. She loves posing for my camera. Right away I knew I wanted to create a fun feminine layout to represent her.

I began with the beautiful Gerbera Blooms Stamp Set by Mudra. This is a layered stamp set. I used three ink colors in shades of pink for the flowers and three ink colors in shades of green for the leaves. I also added a bit of orange to the center of the flowers. I stamped them all out on velum. I love the look of the velum.

Once I had stamped out all of the flowers and leaves, I let them sit for a few minutes so that the ink would dry properly. If your not careful ink will smear a lot easier on velum than on regular paper. I then used my scissors and fussy cut around all of the images. This took some time but it was worth it.

I arranged the flowers and my photo down the center of my page creating a vertical design. I then used the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fancy Scalloped Square Dies and I cut our several different size squares using a lime green patterned paper. I arranged the squares behind the flowers going down the center of the page as well. For some of the squares, I used dimensional foam and raised them up.

I added some sequins throught the layout. I used the White AB Leaves and tucked one into each leaf cluster. I also scattered around the Neon Barbie sequins  as well as the Sparkling Lime sequins. The colors match perfrctly. As a finishing touch I added my tittle using Craft thickers and I also added orange zig zag stitching.

I love how this turned out. Be sure to check out my Process video:
