O Christmas Tree

Crafty Friends,

Today we are creating a colorful Christmas card that also has to be one of the easiest ever! Kat Scrappiness has the best dies for making cards when you do not feel like coloring in stamps.

I started by color blending a background on an A-2 layer 2 piece of card stock. To this I splatted water to create a snowflake feel. This I layered onto a layer 1 and then onto a card base. Each layer color was chosen to co-ordinate with the beautiful tree layers.

I then die cut my tree layers using the Kat Scrappiness Sugar Plum Fairies slim line paper from the new release. The tree die is also from the Kat Scrappiness new release.

To finish the card I added clear sequins and an embossed sentiment across the tree. This would be a great project for kids to try. Kids can make it based on their age and skill set.
