Hi everyone!  It’s Caren on the blog here today, and I have a fun edge to edge shaker card for you today.  Katy (on the design team) had a great video from the latest release showing this great technique – here is the link to her video.

Here are the steps to create this card:

• Cut a 4 x 5 1/4 inch piece of the white and rainbow striped paper from the Rainbow Dreams slimline paper pad
• Add a piece of cellophane (I used packaging from a stamp set), sized about a half inch bigger on each side than the above panel
• Add double sided tape to all around the edges of the panel
• Tape down three sides
• Fill the open side with shaker bits. I used Bright Yellow, Red, Light Blue, Dark Purple, Orange, and Green confetti dots and 4mm and 6mm Clear Solid sequins
• Tape down last open side (video shows this much better than I can explain it!)
• Die cut the word from Missing You with Shadow die from the rainbow striped paper from the Rainbow Dreams slimline paper pad
• Die cut the shadow from Missing You with shadow die from vellum
• Adhere die cut word to the shadow and adhere to shaker panel
• Adhere shaker panel to card base
