Mini Slimline Happy Mail Gift Card

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. I am loving the new Happy Mail Gift Card Holder Die from Kat Scrappiness. It is such a fun way to send someone a Gift Card. Below you will find the steps to create your own card as well as the inspiration used for my design.

Inspiration Photo

Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 7” x 6”, score at 3 1/2” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (Mini Slimline)

Step 2 – Trim White Cardstock to 3 1/2” x 6”. Create a DIY Background. I used a Gel Plate by placing Distress Oxide Candied Apple and Blueprint Stencil directly on the Gel Plate. I mixed the colors with a Brayer. Place the Cardstock on top and a copy paper on top of the Cardstock. Put pressure all over and then remove the Cardstock. Add the same colors to the Gel Press but this time place a stencil on top. I placed a scrap piece of Cardstock to press the ink in and used the second generation for my original Cardstock. This gave a cool effect to my DIY Brick Background. Adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 3 – Diecut Happy Mail Gift Card Holder using Red, Navy and White Cardstock. See card for the colors used for the individual dies. Trim Grey Cardstock to 2 7/16” x 1”. Place it in a Score Tool and score at 1/4” intervals. Assemble and adhere to card front using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 4 – Using your stash Diecut or Stamp a bird and envelopes and adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 5 – Be sure to add your gift card in the slot of the Gift Card Holder.

This card can be used for many occasions. Below is a link to all the products used. Right now there is a Site Wide Sale going on until March 14 for 15% off. Use code SPRINGSALE2021 at checkout.

Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
