Hello everybody! Today I am stopping in to share some super cute and easy to make “Lunch Box Notes” using the Kat Scrappiness Punny Snacks Stamp Set. I love surprising my kids during the school day by sticking a fun little message in their lunch bags/boxes to let them know that I am thinking about them. With the Kat Scrappiness Punny Snacks Stamp Set, it makes coming up with a quick and cute card that much easier. This super cute set comes with a total of 29 stamps: 9 different food/snacks, 2 hearts, 7 different faces you can add onto the foods, and 11 sentiments.
To start, I first cut down some ReCollections 110lb. white card stock into 3″ x 6″ pieces. I scored the pieces along the 6″ side at 3″ and folded on the score line to create a 3″x 3″ card base.
Using the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangle Dies, I cut out various colors of 65lb. card stock.
I then stamped many of the snacks from the Kat Scrappiness Punny Snacks Stamp Set onto Neenah Solar White Card Stock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them up using Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils.
Once all my snacks were colored, I fussy cut each one and added some foam adhesive square to the back so that they would “pop” off my postage die cut colored pieces.
I then added 1/4″ scor-tape to the back of each die and adhered them onto the front of the card bases. To finish off these mini note cards, I used a white gel pen to add some highlights as well as a few colored gel pens to added colored sprinkles to my donuts.
And here once again, is my small completed set of mini note cards.
I hope that you enjoyed today’s project and it has helped to inspire you. All products used in the project are listed below and can be found at the Kat Scrappiness Store. Remember to use the Code: JANA10 to receive 10% off of your order.
