KatScrappiness – Witches Skirt, Bats and Spooky Sparkles!

Hi everyone, it’s #AJBodine here as part of the brand new #designteam here at #KatScrappiness.  We’re kicking off the Fall/Halloween season off with a bang!  Today I’m showing you a few of the new, seasonal products that I’ve used on this fun Halloween card, so let’s get started!

I started with a black 5×5 cardstock base and drew a dot and dash line with my #WhiteGelUniball pen.  I then cut a few extra, slightly smaller layers.  My top, purple layer is where I decided to use the #Bats2 Stencil by #EchoParkPaperCo. with a little #WiltedViolet #distressink to do a tone on tone.  I also hit the edges with a tiny bit of #Blacksoot #DistressInk for a little extra shade around the outside of the purple layer.  I love using #stencils to create my own custom papers!

Then came the fun part where I cut out this #WitchesSkirt by #CheeryLynnDesigns .  I had never used this brand before, so I was so excited about the quality of the cut and the cuteness of the design!!  After cutting it out in black for my base, I cut the top part out of the orange swirl to add the words “Happy Halloween” and the bottom in white to make those rockin’ striped socks!

Lastly I added some of #KatScrappiness gorgeous #sequins from the #SpookySparkle mix and some lime green eyelash yarn across the top for added fun!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my project, thank you for stopping by today!  Stay tuned for more this month from our creative DT, using seasonal products found at Kat Scrappiness Store – Click Here to Shop!
