Honoring 9/11 Firemen

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today is the day to HONOR all our FIREMEN that risk their lives on September 11th and the weeks that followed when the Twin Towers fell. I hope this card does these HEROES justice. This is Essential Worker (Fireman) from Paper Nest Dolls. I used Kat Scrappiness Distressed Edge, Zig Zag Nesting, and Cityscape Slimline Dies to create my scene. And to lighten up this post, I have included pictures of my nephew and I playing FIREMAN… at the time I was really into the TV Show Chicago Fire so I bought him a Fireman costume for us to play!

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Where were you on 9/11?

A: Me? I was sitting at my breakfast table getting ready for work as a nanny, needless to say we all stayed home glued to the TV that day

Ooh i still love Chicago fire ๐Ÿคฉ. Your card is just perfect in every way. But the star of the show has to be you and your nephew dressed up and playing firemen.
The day of the twin towers i was working in our restaurant and didn’t get home until late in the night/morning and was so tired i had a small glass of wine and showered then bed! I didnt know anything about it until the following day and I broke down crying. What an awful devastating experience for all. My heart still goes out to everyone that was effected by this.
    Never forget ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฅ€ X X
