Happy Halloween Card with Kelley

2016-09-19-16-57-25

Thank you all for visiting today. This is Kelley Kohout again with an easy Happy Halloween card. The Cheery Lynn Designs: Happy Halloween die set and Gina Marie Designs: Circle Plate Background die do all the work for you!

I gathered scrap pieces of card stock and used the new Doodlebug Design 6×6 Flea Market paper pad and die cut all of my card pieces.

Next I used purple card stock from my stash, the Echo Park Snow Fall 6×6 StencilDistress Ink in Wilted Violet, and the super sparkly Shimmer Spritz to make a background for my card. You could totally omit this step and apply all of your die cuts directly onto your card base. Here’s an example of that!

Next, I started to build my card front. Using the stenciled background as my base, I added the Circle Background and popped up the green patterned paper circles ( also cut with Circle Background ). Using spray adhesive I attached all of  my sparkly Halloween die cuts.

You can’t have Halloween without a creepy spider and it’s web!!! I used the Kat Scrappiness Spooky Sparkles Mix for my spider and web. The web sequins are included in this mix, and I transformed one of the the sparkling black sequins into a hanging spider. Just adhere the sequins and add legs and web for the spider to hang from with a fine black pen or marker. Lastly I added a small drop of the Nuvo Drops in Ripened Pumpkin to the center of my spider sequin.  Please watch the video below for more details!
