Filigree Easter Egg Card

Hi Everyone, it’s Tina here. The Large Filigree Die from Kat Scrappiness makes super quick Easter Cards. Just create any background using inks and diecut the Large Filigree and and add some accents. Easy Peasy! Below you will find the steps to create your own Filigree Easter Card.

Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, score at 4 1/4” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)

Step 2 – Trim White Cardstock to 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”. Apply Distress Oxide Ink randomly using an ink applicator. I used Candied Apple, Wild Honey and Squeezed Lemonade. Adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 3 – Trim White Cardstock to 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”. Diecut Large Filigree Egg and keep the outer diecut. Diecut the outer diecut with Double Stitched Rectangles. Diecut Large Filigree Egg using Black Cardstock. Adhere the Black diecut to the bottom of the White diecut. This will give a shadow effect to the egg. Adhere the egg inside the frame using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 4 – Diecut Happy Easter 3 times. 2 times with regular Cardstock and 1 time with Metallic Paper. Stack together with the Metallic diecut on top and adhere to the card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 5 – For added interest and sparkle adhere Yellow Jewels using a Crystal Katana and Collage Medium.

You can change the look of this card by changing the colors. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
