CAREN BARTHOLOMEW

Caren used the Happy Halloween Word Die with Shadow, along with the Dress-Up Quokka Stamp Set & Dies.  These cute quokkas are all dressed-up and ready for Halloween, using the Dress-Up Quokka Halloween Add-on Stamp Set.    I love her ink-blended background!

One word for this card –> ADORABLE!  Don’t you just LOVE the cute ghosts from the Boo-gy Ghosts Die Set that she paired up with the Lift Your Spirits Word Die with Shadow?

Caren created this A2-size card using the Boo To You SL Paper Pack and Home Sweet Home House Die Set and made it spooky by combining it with the Home Sweet Home Halloween Add-On Die Set, finishing the scene by adding the moon and bats from the Crafter’s Essentials Halloween Die Set.

Loving this interactive shaker card!  Caren used the Creepy Crawly Die Set along with the Happy Mail Mini SL Envelope Die Set.

DONNA GREEN-IDLET

This never-ending shaker card is so much fun!  Donna dressed up her cute Quokkas for Halloween, using the Dress-Up Quokka Halloween Add-on Stamp Set.  The background was made by using the Boo To You SL Paper Pack, along with the Creepy Crawly Dies, the word BOO using the Condensed Uppercase Alpha and some fun Halloween Masquerade Sequin mix.

Super cute mini slimline card using the ghosts from the Boo-gy Ghosts Die Set that she paired up with the Lift Your Spirits Word Die with Shadow and Crafter’s Essentials Halloween Die Set.

Another cute card that Donna created using the Happy Mail Mini SL Envelope Die Set, with the Boo To You Paper Pad, Happy Halloween Word Die with Shadow and Creepy Crawly Die Set.  Don’t you just love the googly eyes?  They’re so much fun!

Donna mixed and matched a few of the new products here to create this spooky but very cute Halloween scene.  The Home Sweet Home House Die Set along with the Home Sweet Home Halloween Add-On Die Set, finishing the scene by adding the moon, tombstone and bats from the Crafter’s Essentials Halloween Die Set and the ghost from the Boo-gy Ghosts Die Set.  Isn’t it amazing that these products go so well together?

YouTube Video Design Team Member  – KATY INGRAM

A wonderful creation by our very own YT DT member Katy, mixing and matching new products to create this spooky scene.

The Home Sweet Home House Die Set along with the Home Sweet Home Halloween Add-On Die Set, finishing the scene by adding the moon, tombstone, trees and bat from the Crafter’s Essentials Halloween Die Set and the ghosts from the Boo-gy Ghosts Die Set.

I really LOVE the stars that she added using some white gel pen.

Created using the Happy Mail Mini SL Envelope Die Set, the tiny envelopes from the Snail Mail Mini SL Envelope Die Set (coming tomorrow), along with the Boo To You Paper Pad, Happy Halloween Word Die with Shadow and Creepy Crawly Die Set.

As you can see, you can also use the mini slimline envelope die sets to create mini slimline cards.  It’s basically two-in-one!

DT Manager – MARIA RUSSELL

I have to admit that this card below is probably one of my favorite Halloween cards that I’ve ever made!   I ink-blended the background with some distress oxide inks and used a stencil set from my collection to create the creepy sky!

The Home Sweet Home House Die Set  was die-cut using some purple card stock and dry-embossed with a brick stencil. I then added black soot on the bricks to add more texture and dimension.

I used the Home Sweet Home Halloween Add-On Die Set to finish the spooky house.  The tree and bats are from the Crafter’s Essentials Halloween Die Set and the cute ghosts (die-cut using some white glitter card stock) are from the Boo-gy Ghosts Die Set.

This slimline card is another favorite of mine.  I adhered the Boo To You Paper on some black slimline card base.  On another panel of SL Bristol smooth white card stock, I used some clouds stencil and distress oxide inks to create the night-time sky.

I then stamped the costume from the Dress-Up Quokka Halloween Add-on Stamp Set on some masking paper and fussy-cut using precision snips. I stamped the costumes first on some Neenah solar white card stock and used the mask to mask-off the image, then stamped the two quokkas from the  Dress-Up Quokka Stamp Set. By doing so, it created a seamless look.  I used my Scan N cut machine to die-cut them out.

The filmstrip is from the Slimline Film Strip Border Dies.  I finished my design by adding more creepy elements to the card and used the  Happy Halloween Word Die with shadow as my sentiment.

My third sample is fairly simple!  For my card base, I used the Tri-Fold Scored Cards and Envelopes available at the shop with the Never-Ending Square die set to create the windows.  I once again ink-blended the background with some distress oxide inks and clouds stencil.  I cut a piece of patterned paper from the Boo To You Paper Pack and adhered on the inside with liquid glue.  The cute ghosts from the Boo-gy Ghosts Die Set were die-cut on some glitter card stock.  I finished the design by adding some Purple Pearls and the sentiment Lift Your Spirits that I die-cut with some black and white card stock.

(Inside view of the tri-fold card)

The matching envelope using the Happy Mail Mini SL Envelope Die Set and Boo To You SL Paper Pack.

GUEST DESIGNER – DONNA WALLS

We are lucky to have guest designer, Donna Walls this month.  She created this cute mini slimline card with using the Happy Halloween Word Die with Shadow, along with the Dress-Up Quokka Stamp Set & Dies.  These cute quokkas are all dressed-up and ready for Halloween, using the Dress-Up Quokka Halloween Add-on Stamp Set.    You can die-cut these costumes by purchasing the SVG Cut files at the shop.  The background was created by ink-bending with distress oxide inks and created the scene using die cuts from the Crafter’s Essentials – Halloween Die Set.

Is this card the most adorable thing, ever?!  She used a couple of Halloween sequin mixes as her shaker element with the Boo-gy Ghosts Die Set, Happy Halloween Word Die with Shadow, Boo to You Paper Pack and created the matching envelope using the  Happy Mail Mini SL Envelope Die Set.

Donna created this third card by keeping it cute and simple with the Boo To You Paper Pack, Boo-gy Ghosts Die Set and Creepy Crawly Die Set.

Maria Russell’s card using the “Home Sweet Home House die set” and extension pack are Ink-credible. Her use of colors and layers give it so much texture. The moon and windows are eye catching and the heat puffs of smoke coming out of the chimney is dreamy and sweet.
