Bright and Cheery Easter Cards

Hi everyone, hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.  I’ve been practicing my social distancing, but I did have a google hangout with crafty friends and I created these bright and cheery Easter cards  featuring products from this months release from Kat Scrappiness.

My first card features the Happy Easter sentiment with shadow die.  I die cut the word from pink card stock.  It didn’t stand out as much as I wanted it to on the patterned paper and I didn’t want to cover the patterned paper, so I cut the shadow from vellum.  This tones down the patterned paper behind the sentiment without completely covering the gorgeous pattern paper.

For my second card, I die cut several circles in two different sizes from various pastel colored card stock.  I them stamped the bunnies and faces from the Build a Bunny stamp set with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I added a simple sentiment strip to complete the card.

Both of these cards were quick and easy to make and so cheerful!
