Aloha! Featuring the Kat Scrappiness Postage Stamp Edge Square Dies!

Aloha, Crafty Friends!

The new Kat Scrappiness Postage Stamp Edge Dies are the perfect backdrop for the the cute little Lawn Fawn pineapples!

I thought it was so cute for each little pineapple to have their own stamp or postcard. I first ink blended a piece of Bristol Smooth Card Stock with Cracked Pistachio and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks. I sprayed water on the paper to get the awesome oxide effect and then set them aside to dry. Once dry, I cut them out with one of the smallest Postage Stamp Edge Square Dies.

I stamped the little Aloha Pineapples on the the same Bristol card stock using the water safe Versafine Onyx Black Ink. The images were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I used a black glaze pen on the eyes and mouths and added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the little sunglasses.

I used some teal coordinating card stock as my card base and added some rainbow patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6×6 paper pad. Wanting my Postage Stamp Edge Squares to stand out against the rainbow, I first added plain white card stock to the layers. I adhered the two outside squares flat against the card and popped the center pineapple square up with foam tape. Using the super crisp Versafine Onyx Black Ink, I stamped the “aloha” greeting under the pineapples. To add a bit more sparkle, I added some of the rainbow sequin mix from Kat Scrappiness. To give them just a tad more bling, each sequin is topped off with a 4mm clear confetti sequin, also from Kat Scrappiness!

Thanks for stopping by today!
