A Rainbow of Brush Strokes

Hi Friends! kel here today to share a pair of super fun cards using the new Every Day Brush Strokes stamp set =o)

Today’s cards once again feature the brand-spanking new Every Day Brush Strokes stamp set! I just couldn’t help myself! You know, I really struggled in the beginning with ideas for this set but once I started stamping, I just kept going lol. Love when that happens sometimes.

This first card was SO MUCH FUN. I used the widest brush stroke from the stamp set to create a rainbow down one side of the card. I used colors from a variety of Lawn Fawn ink cube sets, particularly the Tropical, Gazebo, County Fair, and Candy Store ink cube sets. After stamping out the “congratulations” sentiment with my Memento black ink pad, I mounted it on some black cardstock so that the colors stand out even more!

And here’s a close-up of how BEAUTIFUL those colors came out.

The second card I made used the same Lawn Fawn ink cube sets, and the sentiment was stamped with the same Memento black ink pad. I also used the second-largest Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangle dies and popped it up on some 3d squares… and then placed it at an angle for fun!! I tried to make this one like a random paint splatter/brushing, but it came out pretty symmetrical. Whoops!! haha!!

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!

lovies, =o) kel
