Hello and welcome back!  Are you as excited to start creating fall cards as I am? Stephanie here with a fall inspired card using two beautiful sets that have definitely become staples in my craft room.

I love all of the new layering stamps that are coming out right now, and this Color Layering Grateful Leaves set by Hero Arts is a great one to have on hand.  It’s just beautiful.  I paired it with the Hero Arts Prayers stamp and die set.  I absolutely adore the font they used on this, and the supporting sentiments are perfect for so many thoughtful messages.

I started out doing some die cutting using the two largest rectangles in the Stitched Rectangle Dies from Kat Scrappiness.  Lawn Fawn is one of my personal favorite’s for plaid paper, so I pulled a brown plaid from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Fall Paper Pad to use as a mat.

When it comes to fall colored inks, my selection is lacking a bit.  I used what I had on hand and made it work by stamping on kraft cardstock, which muted the brighter colors perfectly.  I decided I wanted a little more color variation in the leaves so I took two different brown colored pencils and added a little color towards the bottom of each leaf before stamping the vein layer over top.

Next I die cut the Prayers word die using some glitter cardstock and popped that up on some fun foam.  I stamped the rest of my sentiment on a small banner and also added some dimension behind it.  I finished off the card with some of the Espresso Sequin Mix from Kat Scrappiness.  I really love the simplicity of the flat sequins in this mix and I love that it includes several different sizes.

I sometimes struggle creating more masculine cards, but I feel like these fall colors really offer a more masculine look.  I hope you enjoyed today’s card.  Thank you so much for stopping by!  As always the products I used are linked down below.  I’ll see you next time!
