7 Steps to Create a Handmade Thanks Card

Good morning crafty friends. It is Nora here from A Creative Touch with a card I created with die cuts from the new Kat Scrappiness release. I used the new Kat Scrappiness 5x7 Never Ending Rectangle Dies, the new Thanks Sentiment w/ Shadow, and the 5×7 Diamond Wire and Woodgrain Frame to make my card.

Here are the Directions for my Card:

Step 1: First, die cut a piece of Neenah White Cardstock with the 5×7 Diamond Wire and Woodgrain Frame. Adhere the frame over a 5×7 white card base.

Step 2: Next, using the second largest die in the 5×7 Never Ending Rectangle Die set, die cut a piece of Neenah White Cardstock. Blend red, orange, yellow and green dye ink over the front. Use a Ranger Mini Mister to spritz water over the front of the panel and leave it to dry.

Step 3: With the Thanks Sentiment w/ Shadow die, cut twenty-five white “thanks” sentiments out of white paper and three out of the Rainbow Confetti Slimline Paper.

Step 4: Then adhere the sentiments using Bearly Art Precision Glue over the front of the ink blended panel. On three of the “thanks,” layer more than one white cardstock sentiment. Layer sentiments die cuts using the Rainbow Confetti Slimline Paper and adhere over three of the layered sentiments.

Step 5: Adhere this blended panel with the sentiments over the front of the 5×7 Diamond Wire and Woodgrain Frame

Step 6: Cover the sentiments that have the patterned paper with Glossy Accents.

Step 7: Adhere Fire Flame Dual Color Pearls randomly over the card front and it is complete.
