Valentine Medley

Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla here. Today I have a trio of 3 Valentine’s Day cards, with nothing in common between them. They feature mixed medias, different, color schemes, and different techniques. In fact, the only thing they have in common is that I made them all! LOL! Let’s get started!

My first card features one of Kat’s new “Shaker Card Kits” and a cool alcohol inked background.

I used various shades of purple, pink, and brass alcohol inks, mixed them with the  Tim Holtz  “Alcohol Ink Blending Solution” on Yupo paper, and blew on them with a straw to create the look I was going for.

I colored the frame of the heart shaker kit with “Wilted Violet” Distress Oxide ink and adhered it over the base of the shaker kit that I had filled with some of Kat‘s newly released heart sprinkles and a current “Sweetheart” sequin collection.

The gold heat-embossed “Happy Valentine’s Day” sentiment is from Kat’s “Say It With Hearts” stamp set.

Card #2 features Kat’s new “Floral Heart” die. I die cut the heart from white card stock and colored all these intricate details with  red, green, and gray Copic markers.

The script background stamp and Valentine sentiment die are from my stash. Kat‘s “White Jewels” added a finishing touch.

My third and final card was created using a beautiful Graphic 45 patterned paper, yet the focal point is the elegant new “Happy Valentine’s Day Sentiment with Shadow” die.

I die cut the sentiment from black glitter paper and adhered it on the shadow cut from vellum. The black glitter heart was cut from Kat’s new “Say It With Hearts” die. The “dot” over the “i” is a Kat Scrappiness “Red Heart Droplet.”

Thanks for stopping by! And don’t forget to check out what’s NEW in Kat’s Shop, and follow my blog and Instagramfor more “Kat Scrappiness Amazingness”!
