Hi, everyone! Kevin here today sharing a card made with a couple of the brand new Kat Scrappiness dies, which are perfect for Valentine’s! Check it out!

I started by trying something brand new to me- stenciling. I used CC Designs’ Falling Stars stencil and some transparent texture paste on a craft card base to create a beautiful background for my shaker tag.

Next, I started die cutting. I used one of the larger Stitched Scalloped Nesting Tags Dies on a piece of the Heart Day paper pad from Crate Paper. Then I grabbed a medium Double Stitched Heart Die, also from KS, to cut the portion where my shaker pieces will be seen.

I added the acetate window to the tag and foam strips around the heart opening. Then I added some Candy Kisses sequins into the shaker. Then I added it all onto the card base and finished it off with some twine. I also used a sentiment bubble from one of the Crate Paper Heart Day patterns.
