Hello Friends,
Today’s card is a fun birthday card using the Kat Scrappiness bamboo backdrop die with a panda as the focal point.
I started this project by cutting two circles using the KS Never Ending Circles die set, the larger one in black card stock and the bit smaller one in gold card stock. These are layered together then cut to fit the focal image. Next the panda with his hat and tie from the Waffle Flower Be Him Stamp set are stamped, cut out, and colored. Finally a black strip is cut and the sentiment is embossed using Versamark Embossing ink, Brutus Monroe Gilded Embossing Powder and B|M sentiment from Sharon’s Script Stamp set.
Now I created the card front or base for the card. I die cut the backdrop using the KS Bamboo Backdrop die using the gold paper. This layer was adhered to the black card base.
The last step is to adhere all the pieces onto the card front and add a few gold sequins from the KS Golden Anniversary Sequins mix.
I hope this project inspires you to create a card using the KS backdrop die.
