Hey crafty friends! Kevin here with one last Valentine’s Day project. With all the pink and red lately I thought I would change things up with a more masculine valentine that I could send to one of my fellow card makers, but it really cold be sent to anyone! Masculine cards seem to be a little more CAS than usual so I thought that I would add some texture using an embossing folder.
I used the We R Memory Keepers Gemstone Pack to create the embossed background to add a bit of dimension and interest. I used the second largest Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Rectangles to give it a nice finished border.
Then I ink blended a couple blues onto white paper and die cut a small heart from Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Hearts to be a bold pop of color on my CAS design. It is the perfect spot to add the super cool Mini Hello My Crafty Friend sentiment die from KS. A trio of Kat Scrappiness Let It Snow sequins completed it!
I really love how this card turned out and might just make 10 more to send to all my crafty people out there! Thank you for stopping by and I hope you found some CAS inspiration!

I love this card – the vertical and horizontal elements (lines) keep it from being too simple, and add such flair – thank you! I don’t see it at all as solely a masculine Valentine card. I can see it appealing to men and women, as you point out. Thank you.
