Happy Saturday everyone!  Have you seen the new Crafter’s Essentials 1 dies?  This is a great starter die set for both card makers and scrapbookers.  So many options with this die set.

I created this card with two dies from the set – the stitched cut out panel and the stitched flag banner.

I cut the panel and banner die from patterned paper.  I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo black ink, colored them with Copics, and then fussy cut them out.  I adhered a strip of pink glitter paper to the left side.  I didn’t have orange glitter paper, so I colored a strip of paper with my Copic marker and used my Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to add glitter to it.  I popped up the star and jellyfish images with some foam adhesive.
