Can you believe it, 2016 is almost over! Time sure flies! Today, I’m sharing a card I made for, you guessed it, new years! I’m glad I got a chance to try out the “Happy New year” Word Die from Kat Scrappiness just in time. I cut it out from gold glitter paper and I think it looks just fabulous!
I created the background by cutting out a panel using the Kat Scrappiness Stitched rectangle die from light pink textured cardstock. I really like the pink color and it goes great with gold!
The snowflakes are cut using the layering snowflakes die from Hero Arts. What’s amazing about this die is that the snowflakes cut halfway and not all the way through. You can then fold up the partially cut parts to create a beautiful 3D look! Here’s a closer look at the gorgeous snowflakes.
I hope you liked my card. Here’s wishing you and your loved ones a very Happy New Year from all of us at Kat Scrappiness!
