Happy Sunday everyone! It’s Caren on the blog today bringing you a holiday card using one of Kat Scrappiness shaker kits.  Have you started on your holiday cards yet?  I try to make a few each month, so I’m not so frantic when it comes time to mail them out!

Here are the steps for creating this card:

• Shaker Part
  • Cover top shaker piece of the Gift Box/Present shaker kit with paper from the Sugar Plum Fairies slimline patterned paper
  • Put shaker pieces together – front, acetate, and foam
  • Add shaker bits – Clear Stars, Frozen II, Fluffy Clouds, Blue Stars
  • Add piece of Sugar Plum Fairies slimline paper to back of shaker.  Shaker part is complete!
• Card Panel
  • Cut piece of Sugar Plum Fairies slimline paper 5 1/4 x 4 inches
  • Die cut two snow drifts using the Crafter Essentials Winter die set from white card stock
  • Adhere snow drifts to panel
  • Stamp sentiment with gray ink
  • Layer the panel to a gray piece of card stock
  • Attach to card base
• Adhere shaker to card
• Add a few sequins to finish the card

The shaker kits are so fun and make it really easy to create shaker cards!
