Hello, everyone! It’s Siqi here today with my first blog over at Kat Scrappiness Blog featuring some new products that are released this month. The one I chose to work with is Everyday Brush Strokes Stamp Set. In today’s card, I chose to go with a very delightful and refreshing aqua color scheme mixed with a little gold to add some interests.
I used several different brush stroke stamps in this stamp set to stamp randomly on my cardstock panel with 4 Lawn Fawn ink colors . After creating the background, I prep my panel with anti static powder tool and stamp the smaller brush stroke image with Versamark ink then sprinkle on some gold embossing powder and heat-set it.
After done with the panel, I trimmed it down to be slightly smaller than an A2 size notecard. I adhered a piece of craft foam on the back side of my panel and stick it down on my card base.
For the rest of my card, I used the biggest word shadow die from Honey Bee Stamps Happy Die set with some vellum, and the Happy word die 4 times with some white cardstock. I did a little ink-blending using Lawn Fawn Mermaid ink on one of the Happy word that will go on top. I adhere all 4 together on top on the vellum piece and stick on my cardbase.
I also white heat-embossed the sentiment “happy birthday” from the same Everyday Brush Strokes Stamp Set on a thin strip of black cardstock. I trimmed the end at an angle and adhere it on my card with some foam tape.
To finish it off, I added some clear sequins from Kat ScrappinessTurquoise Sunrise Sequin Mix here and there for some extra interests.
I hope yo like today’s card and remember the new awesome along with the other two new stamp sets are on sale right now, you can also use the coupon Siqi10 to get 10% off you order! Happy Crafting!
