Happy Saturday everyone! It’s Caren on the blog today, and I’m sharing a shaker card using a ton of Kat Scrappiness products. I made this fun card for my niece’s birthday.
Here is how I created the card:
- Die cut the Layered Balloon Coverplate die from white card stock
- Die cut the individual balloons from the same die set using various papers from the Spring Fling patterned paper
- Adhered the pattern paper balloons to the balloon panel
- Adhered a piece of Kat Scrappiness acetate to the back of the panel
- Added dimensional adhesive on the border around the panel
- Added the shaker bits in the panel – I used Mint Green, Bright Yellow, Medium Pink, and White confetti sprinkles and clear stars
- I added the backing white is a piece of mint green paper from the Spring Fling paper pad
- Die cut one of the Stitched Fishtail banner dies from white card stock
- Stamped and heat embossed the happy birthday sentiment from the Everyday Brush Strokes stamp set
- Adhered banner to the card
I love the way this card turned out! Check out the Mother’s Day sale going on in the Kat Scrappiness shop. Save 15% off sitewide with coupon code “LOVEMOMS” now thru May 9th.
