Hi, everyone! Kevin here sharing my new love for shaker cards! I’ve been addicted to these things lately and when Kat sent me these awesome sequins I knew I had to continue to feed my addiction with another shaker! I decided to use the Fright Night mix because it matched perfectly with the colored card stock I have.
Now, let me tell you something… making shakers are easier than you think! This card took me less than 15 minutes to make! Using this die cutting technique really made it simple. I left the Embossed Mini Rope dies on the packaging paper that has adhesive on it so I could have the same cuts for every color paper. This made lining up the circular frames very easy to do.
After assembling the main shaker portion of the card, I added the sequins and added it all to the card base. Finally, I stamped out a Crazy Bird and used my Zigs to color him in. On the inside, is used a “Happy Halloween” sentiment along with a couple bats from the sequin pack. Thanks for checking out my post! Hope you got some shaker inspiration!

Love it! Leaving the dies on the backing is a great idea! I always try to tape them together to make a frame but they always seem to shift. I’ll definitely try this next time. I love those rope dies, too! I might have to grab me some of those. Fun shaker!
