Hi Crafty Friends,
Have you been playing along with any Christmas in July challenges or projects? If you have, I have got a fun post for you today to inspire your Christmasy creations! I made two shaker cards using the wonderful dies, sequins, and sprinkles at Kat Scrappiness! This is the first and I want you to come back on the 21st for the second! Also, head to my blog for a GIVEAWAY!
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite NON-traditional Christmas color combo?
A: Me? I didn’t use it here, but I really like pink, black, and white (pink santa)
Here is the step by step to sparkly shaker awesomeness:I die cut the rectangle frame for my shaker piece with the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Die then die cut the rectangle center using the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Rectangle Dies which fits PERFECTLY. I add the acetate and the foam tape to the eddges.
Next I die cut the tree out of purple cardstock that matches my base using the Kat Scrappiness Stitched & Layered Christmas Tree Die.
I used three different sequin and sprinkle blends for my shaker piece Snow Flurries Sequin Mix, Sugarplum Fairies Sequin Mix , White Snowflake Sprinkles
I finished my card by adding the tree to the acetate and putting little sequin ornaments on it! Hope you love this shaker as much as I do! Use the links below for all the goodies and get 10% off with the code Meghan.
